Sales Representative — Trainee

Entry Level · Commission

Entry-level role for individuals with little to no experience in freight brokerage or sales. Training and guidance provided.

Responsibilities

  • Learn freight brokerage fundamentals
  • Make outbound calls and send emails to potential shippers
  • Follow company sales scripts and processes
  • Generate leads and assist in closing deals
  • Update CRM and track daily activity

Compensation

  • Commission-based (lower tier during training phase)
  • Performance-based progression to next level

Requirements

  • No prior freight experience required (training provided)
  • Strong communication skills (phone + email)
  • Comfortable making high-volume outbound calls
  • Basic computer skills (email, CRM, data entry)
  • Highly motivated and coachable
  • Ability to handle rejection and stay consistent
  • Able to work on-site at our office (no remote option)

Education & Experience

Sales Representative — Intermediate

Commission · Standard Tier

For individuals who understand the basics and can independently generate and close freight opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect and close new shipping clients
  • Negotiate rates and secure freight
  • Manage customer relationships
  • Maintain consistent sales activity

Compensation

  • Commission-based (standard tier — higher than trainee)
  • Uncapped earnings based on performance

Requirements

  • Prior sales experience preferred (freight, logistics, or related field is a plus)
  • Ability to prospect, pitch, and close deals independently
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Experience using CRM systems (or ability to learn quickly)
  • Consistent daily activity (calls, emails, follow-ups)
  • Self-disciplined and results-driven
  • Ability to manage multiple leads and accounts

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • College education (business, sales, logistics) is a plus
  • 6+ months of sales experience preferred

Senior Sales Representative

Commission · Top Tier + Bonus

High-performing sales professionals responsible for generating consistent revenue and mentoring newer reps.

Responsibilities

Freight Dispatcher

In-Office

Coordinate shipments, communicate with carriers, and ensure smooth execution.

Carrier Sales Representative

In-Office · Commission

Build and maintain a network of reliable carriers.

Responsibilities

  • Source and onboard new carriers
